KARACHI: Disgruntled Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Zulfiqar Mirza again has been given extension in the bail until June 10 by an anti-terrorism court (ATC).
The ATC heard the former PPP leader bail plea on Saturday (today) and extended the bail for him and his supporters in various cases registered against them.
While hearing of pleas for transfer of cases from ATC to sessions court would be held on the next date of the case.
Prosecution lawyer argued that many are pending against Mirza and the court should confiscate his passport to prevent him from leaving the country.
Mirza arrived at the court amid high security under the protection provided by Rangers.
