HARARE: Zimbabwe on Friday won 1st One-day International match by seven wickets ageist New Zealand.
Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to field at Harare Sports Club. New Zealand set Zimbabwe 304 runs target to win the match. New Zealand’s batsman Taylor scored 112 runs and remained not out. Captain Williamson made 97 runs in the match. New Zealand scored 303 runs on 4 wickets.
Zimbabwe achieved the given target by the loss of three wickets in 49 overs. Zimbabwean batsman Ervine scored 130 runs and remained not out. While Masakadza scored 84 and Chibhabha made 42 runs in the match.
Zimbabwean batsman Ervine was awarded with Man of the Match.
