LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan has confirmed media reports that said Zimbabwe team to visit Pakistan as scheduled.
The PCB chairman said that Zimbabwe cricket board has apprised the PCB verbally that its team will Pakistan.
Shaharyar Khan said that whole of Pakistani nation is deserved congratulation over the good news.
Earlier Zimbabwe leading newspaper the Herald had quoted that Zimbabwe team will visit Pakistan as scheduled.
According to the paper Pakistani authorities have assured flawless complete security will be provided to the Zimbabwe team in its tour to Pakistan “word from Pakistan is that all mountains will be moved to ensure that the Zimbabwe team is safe.”
The African country has expressed concerns regarding security in Pakistan after Safora massacre on Thursday (yesterday) even the Zimbabwe cricket board had announced cancellation of visit but later just after few minutes withdrew its decision.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also assured Zimbabwe that as many as one million dollar will be spent on the security of Zimbabwe cricket team to ensure security of the visiting team.
