Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq on Wednesday said that political statement delivered by the former president Asif Ali Zardari was ‘light melody’ which should not be turned into ‘Dhamal’.
Sirajul Haq said he has once again sensed risks to the democractic system in the country. He urged need to disunite crimes and politics while frozen mindset should be changed if some political and establishment elements being thoughts to be prior than the law and accountability.
JI Ameer in his recent statement released in Peshawar urged to ensure supremacy of law and constitution in Pakistan. He highlighted that Pakistan is facing severe consequences of moral crisis that are barricading the nation to transfer to the prosperity paths.
Senator Sirajul Haq said that every Pakistani individual should repect constitution as Pakistan is passing through tough time. He said that Pakistan is in implementation phase of Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project, whereas, India is making full efforts to interrupt the project besides threatening and inflammatory statements against Pakistan to destroy regional peace.
Sirajul Haq appealed to promote patriotism and unity by maintaining mutual understandings as Pakistan cannot bear any internal conflicts citing the current situation.
