KARACHI: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has termed to MPA Ali Nawaz Shah’s sentenced to jail as ‘political victimisation.’
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said he already had his sentence in this case and the PPP was once again being political victimised.
The former president alleged that federal institutions were being used for the purpose of political victimisation and the result of this would not be good.
On the other hand, PPP leadership including Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and NA Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah met with the MPA in prison.
The PPP leadership and Ali Nawaz Shah discussed options pertaining to filing an appeal against the NAB court’s sentence.
