Munem Zafar says JI to hold massive protest against LG poll rigging in Karachi today

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Amer Munem Zafar Khan has stated that youth constitute 65 per cent of the country’s population, and their growing interest and enthusiasm in the IT sector represent a ray of hope for Pakistan.

He emphasized that this light cannot be extinguished. Surveys reveal that these 65% of youth love their country and are filled with patriotism.

He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the aptitude test held for Bano Qabil 4.0 at the Bahria Auditorium in Bahria Town. Hundreds of young people participated in the test. Other speakers at the event included Ameer JI, Gadap District, Irfan Ahmed, Naib Ameer JI Khalid Siddiqui, Professor Dr. IshaqMansoori, Commander Zulfiqar, ShamoonAbbasi, and Regional Nazim of Bahria Town Yasir Aslam. Munim Zafar Khan highlighted that while the Constitution mandates the state to provide education to the younger generation, the country lacks adequate facilities for healthcare, education, and even justice. People are grappling with numerous hardships. He urged the youth to love Pakistan, strive for excellence in education, and seize the opportunities available in the IT sector. He further stated that the Bano Qabil program is the vision of former Ameer JI Karachi, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, aimed at empowering youth.

He advised the participants that if they respect their teachers and parents, no force in the world could prevent them from succeeding. Speaking at the ceremony, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, said the Bano Qabil program began a year and a half ago. It is part of Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman’s vision to empower youth through IT courses, enabling them to stand on their own feet.

He added that each year, 400,000 students complete matriculation, many of whom face an uncertain future. Karachi’s youth, however, continue to make the nation proud globally through their education.

The first Bano Qabil aptitude test saw participation from over 100,000 students. For the Bano Qabil 4.0, aptitude tests were conducted at 11 locations across Karachi, with each location hosting 8,000 to 10,000 participants. This means over 100,000 students from across the city have appeared in these tests. Naveed Ali Baig stressed that the Bano Qabil program is inclusive and not limited to the wealthy or poor. The program started with five courses and now offers 28 courses, with the number of campuses expanded to 55. In November, Bano Qabil was launched nationwide, and he expressed hope for more positive developments soon.

He encouraged the youth to enroll in IT courses to ensure prosperity for themselves and their families. Other speakers described Bano Qabil as a revolutionary initiative, empowering youth to make their mark in this program and lead a transformative revolution in Pakistan’s IT sector.
