KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that the youth associated with an Islamic movement had defeated media in Turkey.

He was addressing the Jamaat-e-Islami’s Sindh Workers’ Convention being held here at Bagh-e-Jinnah on Sunday.

The JI leader said that truth was emerging as a dominant power in the world now.

Today is the second day of the JI’s two-day event being attended by thousands of leaders, workers and supporters from all the districts of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawabshah, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Ghotki and Mirpurkhas.

A small city has been established temporarily at the Bagh-e-Jinnah with separate resting places for both male and female participants of the convention, a food court and a large number of stalls to display religious books and party’s literature.

A big stage has also been setup in the pindal at the venue as well as a medical camp.
