KARACHI: If you dry your wet laundry indoors you may suffer lung diseases like asthma, experts warn on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to Jasarat.com, a panel of senior pulmonologists warned people of drying their wet clothes in closed rooms or heaters during the winter or rainy spells.
Humidity level jumps upto 30 per cent by drying laundry indoors, which is dangerous for the people having lung disease.
They said that the practice also weakens the immune system. The experts also warned against using scented laundry detergents.
The strong smell of laundry detergents is harmful for patients of asthma and chronic bronchitis.
