LAHORE: A young girl was killed in an exchange of fire between the dacoits and the Dolphin Force here on Thursday.
SP Iqbal Town has confirmed the death of 22-year-old Fatima in the crossfire. He dded that Fatima died after being caught in a crossfire between dacoits and the personnel of Dolphin Force.
The senior police official said that all the three dacoits were arrested after an encounter.
He claimed that the bullet, which hit the girl, was fired by the dacoits.
On the other hand, the heirs of the girl alleged that Fatima died in police firing.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar taking notice of the incident has sought a report from Inspector General of Police Inam Ghani.
