SANAA: Yemeni government spokesman Rageh Badi has said that Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi would not participate in Geneva peace talks.
President Hadi insisted on rebels pullback from territory seized across the country. United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urged all sides to attend the talks. The talks will start on May 28th in Geneva.
President Hadi said in a letter to UN Secretary General that he was in favor of talks but he will not participate in the talk until Houthi go back from the cities, they had occupied including the capital.
He demanded UN to implement the Security Council resolution no 2216 with its soul. The resolution called on the Houthis to relinquish territory they had seized and surrender weapons they took from the army and other depots.
