Sanaa: Houthi rebels condemned the United Nation Security Council resolution imposing ban on arm supply to the rebels and black listing Hothi’s leader and son of the former Yemeni president.

The Supreme Revolutionary Committee of Houthi rebels said on Tuesday that the UN resolution was in favor of aggression on Yemen.

The UN Security Council resolution demand Houthis to withdraw from areas they have seized, including the capital Sanaa.

In United Nation Security Council, the 15-member council passed the resolution. 14 votes were casted in favor of the resolution, while Russia did not participate in the proceeding. Russia was of view that embargo should be held on the whole Yemen.
