Yasin Malik taken to Srinagar Hospital for check-up

ISLAMABAD: The illegally-detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik was taken to a Srinagar hospital for medical check-up.

According to KMS, the JKLF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Muhammad Yasin Malik who had been put in solitary confinement in extremely shabby conditions at joint interrogation Centre Humhama had grown very weak. He was taken to Florence Hospital Chanapora in Srinagar, he added.

“Last week, his medical tests came out dangerously alarming at Khyber hospital. Today his personal doctor Sajjad Reshi examined him and advised many check-ups regarding his heart, kidney and other ailments. JKLF Chief’s kidney stone has enlarged risking his kidney function severely,” the spokesman said.

“Medical tests regarding heart ailment of Yasin Malik are also unsatisfactory and doctors at the hospital termed his overall health condition at high risk. He has been advised many medicines and also to follow up his medical tests after one week. After medical examinations, he was again shifted to Humhama Joint Interrogation Cell,” the spokesman added.
