World's largest handwritten manuscript of Holy Quran displayed in Sahiwal

SAHIWAL: The world’s largest handwritten manuscript of the Holy Quran put on display here.

Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Wajid Ali Shah inaugurated the exhibition of the Holy Quran.

According to the district administration, the 41 feet long and 8 feet wide is the world’s largest handwritten manuscript of the Holy Quran.

The world’s largest copy of Holy Quran has been handwritten Imtiaz Hussain Shah.

The participants of the exhibition witnessed the Holy Quran and appreciated the passion of Imtiaz Hussain Shah.

The Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal said on the occasion that writing the copy of Holy Quran is not less than a blessing. Imtiaz Hussain Shah has earned good name for country, he added.

Earlier, recitation of Durood Sharif during the assembly in schools has been made mandatory across Punjab.

According to the press statement issued by the School Education Department, it will be necessary to recite Durood Sharif during the assembly in schools across Punjab including Lahore. During the school assembly, it has also be been made mandatory to pray for the progress and security of the country.

In the school assembly, the verses from the Holy Quran will also be recited with the Durood Sharif.

In this connection, the school education department has issued directives to all the district education authorities.
