World Hockey League to commence on June 20 in Brussels

World Hockey League will be officially commenced on June 20 in Brussels – Belgium where top three teams will get chance to qualify for Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The league would be participated by 10 teams divided into two pools while Pakistan is included in Group A alongside India, Australia, Poland and Ireland.

Three hockey teams on the victory stand will qualify for upcoming Rio Olympics 2016. Green Shirts will depart for Brussels on Wednesday while two practice matches would be played against Belgium on June 16 and 18 respectively before commencement of the league.

National team to take on Poland in its first match of the upcoming event on June 20, June 24 against Australia while the team would face off arch rival India on June 26.

Final group match will be played on June 28 between Pakistan and Ireland. Quarter final has been scheduled to be opened on July 1 while semi-final fights on July 3 and final match on July 5.
