World Bank approves 500m dollars credit for Pakistan to stable economy

WASHINGTON: World Bank has approved 500 million dollars credit for Pakistan to stable economy. Pakistan and the World Bank signed the 500 million dollars Second Fiscally Sustainable and Inclusive Growth DPC (Development Policy Credit) to support Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen growth and stable the economy.

Pakistani Ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani and World Bank Vice President for the South Asian Region Annette Dixon signed the agreement.

Ambassador Jilani said that the credit is intended to accelerate Pakistan’s growth.
