KARACHI: A woman was killed and another person sustained injuries when the lift of a residential apartments building in Gulistan-e-Johar area of the metropolis collapsed, an Edhi volunteer said on Sunday night.
He said the incident happened in Block-13 of Gulistan-e-Johar where the lift of Rimsha Towers came crashing, leaving a woman dead and a man injured.
The volunteer said the dead and injured were shifted to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre.
The identities of the deceased woman and the wounded man could not be ascertained so far, he added.
