ISLAMABAD: Dialogues between federal government authorities and trades on withholding tax concluded successfully here in Islamabad.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that all stake holders were agreed to decrease withholding tax by 0.3 percent till September 30th, 2015. He said that only non-tax filers would have to pay the withholding tax. He continued that tax filers had exemption from the withholding tax.
Dar said that the non tax filers would have to pay 0.6 percent withholding tax after September 30. He urged traders to file their income tax returns on priority bases.
