ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that the “track and trace system” would be implemented across the country with the help of the Inter-Services Intelligence’s (ISI) for coronavirus cases.

The prime minister announced this while speaking to the journalists and the social media influencers.

He said that the track and trace system would be helpful in tracing areas where the coronavirus cases are high in number.

After tracing, those areas will be locked while business in other areas will be kept open, the prime minister added.

Earlier on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Quershi had said that coronavirus is likely to reach its peak in May and June in Pakistan.

He added that the virus cases had so far not reached to the highest level.

Qureshi warned that the infections would further increase to peak in May and June
