KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting to discuss cleanliness situation in Karachi on Monday and once again gave the ultimatum to clean the mega city.

Murad once again gave an ultimatum to city authorities to completely clean up Karachi within the stipulated time period and said he will turn his attention to the rest of Sindh next.

The Chief Minister also visited Sea View and wanted it to be completely cleaned up as well.

He vowed to make Karachi clean again ever since he assumed office, said he realised ridding Karachi of garbage dumps would take time and that he had issued new goals and instructions to relevant authorities to clean up the city in the next 10 days.

Talking to media after the meeting, Shah said that law and order situation in Karachi would further improve.

He also dismissed accounts of ‘child kidnappings’ in the city as mere rumours.

Murad Ali Shah further said that no criminals, regardless of their political affiliation, would be allowed to escape.
