ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said if Prime Minister is saying the truth, so why he is demanding immunity.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leaders were given task to prove me [Imran] bad, so Nawaz Sharif may survive, PTI Chief said on Thursday while talking to media outside the Supreme court.
“This is the first time PM Nawaz is trapped, we aren’t running any election campaign,” Imran Khan said.
Imran Khan once again repeated that the money was illegally transferred from the country, it should be investigated.
PTI Chief said PML-N leaders would not be able to save PM Nawaz by talking trash against me [Imran] or changing statements.
He stressed that the corrupt will have to resign.
The PTI Chief said that even the rulers of the west have to be credible and honest. If they are corrupt, how they would be able to secure people’s wealth.
Imran said that if Prime Minister has told the truth in National Assembly, so why he is demanding immunity. Nawaz has to submit the money trail, he added.
Not a single evidence is presented by PM Nawaz’s counsel so far, he said adding that first they said Sharif family runs joint business and now they have separate counsels.
