DUBAI: The UAE passport is the most powerful passport in the world, allowing entry into 152 countries.
With this passport, 98 countries can issue visa-free entry, 54 countries issue visas on arrival and only 46 countries require a visa before going there.
According to the UAE media, the Global Passport Index released by Orton Capital ranked it number one in the world for having the highest mobility score.
The UAE passport was first given the strongest status in December 2018.
This ranking is based on freedom of movement and visa-free travel for passport holders. The power of the passport not only represents a citizen’s identity but also an important factor influencing access to global opportunities, ease of movement and quality of life.
The New Zealand passport is the second strongest passport after the United Arab Emirates, allowing entry into 146 countries.
On the other hand, Afghanistan’s passport is the weakest, followed by Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Myanmar, the Palestinian Territories and Iran.
