ISLAMABAD: Minister for National Food Security Sikandar Hayat Bosan has said the country has sufficient stock of wheat and there is no need to import the commodity.
Responding to a question in the Senate on Tuesday, he said presently there is over 1.54 million ton stock of wheat available in the country. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Shaikh Aftab Ahmad told the House that there is a proposal to add two more lanes to Hassanabdal-Havelian section of N-35.
He said that National Highway Authority (NHA) will undertake Havelian-Mansehra six-lane motorway under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
