ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has declared in his speech after the success of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan that we will not take revenge on anyone and will not do injustice to anyone.
Addressing the National Assembly, Shahbaz Sharif said that a new dawn is about to appear today and the prayers of the people of Pakistan have been accepted by Allah.
He said that all the members of the joint opposition were thankful to Allah.
Earlier, voting on no-trust motion was held after Speaker and deputy speaker of National Assembly had resigned from their offices here late Saturday.
Speaker Asad Qaiser and deputy speaker Qasim Suri had earlier resigned.
Asad Qaiser handed over the Speakership to PML-N’s Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq conducted voting on the no-trust motion.
