Matter of my release will be resolved within Pakistan, says Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that disrespect of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is unbearable.

Speaking to the ambassadors from the OIC-member countries here, the prime minister said that the basic purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues related to the spread of Islamophobia.

“Islamophobia has increased in the western countries as a religion is not considered as a religion there,” he added.

Imran said: “We could not bear a disrespect of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as He lives in our hearts.”

He added that unfortunately, Islam is targeted in some western countries. Pakistan has been making efforts for promoting the inter-faith harmony. Islamophobia fans inter-religious hatred. We need joint efforts for the eradication of Islamophobia, the prime minister concluded.
