ISLAMABAD: The World Bank has forecast that the Pakistan’s growth rate will be below 0.5 per cent during the ongoing fiscal year.
The bank has released a report on the growth rate in the Asian countries.
The report said that Pakistan is likely to face difficulties in repaying the external loans.
According to the report, the growth rate will improve from – 7.7 per cent to 4.4 per cent in Asia next year.
However, the WB chief economist has warned that the situation would be terrible in future for the south Asian countries.
