Supreme Court Karachi registry hearing illegal water hydrants case said that water supply system was destroyed in the city, water is distributed among only a few areas.
Managing Director Water Board Misbah Uddin presented a report regarding illegal hydrants during hearing of case.
In the report is was stated that illegal hydrants have been removed from the city on which Justice Hani asked how many hydrants are working in Karachi?
MD replied that water is being supplied through 13 hydrants in the city while honorable judge against asked how many tankers are there in the city? MD answered 10,000 tankers.
Justice Hani said how water can be supplied to all 10,000 tankers through only 13 hydrants, it seems like there are more than 13 hydrants working in the city.
He order session judges to form another report in the case and if it contradict MD water board’s report then court will take action against MD.
