Former Pakistani skipper and legendary pacer Wasim Akram has revealed details of gun attack by unidentified culprits over him near National Stadium in Karachi.
Wasim Akram while addressing a press conference here on Wednesday said that he was en route to National Stadium when a car hit his vehicle and a person put gun on him. However, few people near him made his introduction that led the person to fire on the vehicle’s tyre and immediately fled from the location. Wasim expressed thanked to the Allah Almighty for escaping safely from the attack.
He said that a police vehicle rapidly reached on the location without making any delay over his call to Karachi Police helpline 15. He said that he had reported all details regarding the life threatening attack and also told them the number plate of the vehicle. He expressed his full confidence over the law enforcement agencies that would definitely bring culprits under custody.
