KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain and fast bowler Wasim Akram has requested parents to forbid their children from resorting to celebratory aerial firing.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the former fast bowler wished the New Year to the nation.

Wasim Akram requested citizens to go and buy some fireworks and enjoy the occasions but avoid aerial firing.
He said that a bullet which goes up in the air also returns on the ground and may injure someone.
