KARACHI: An Anti-terrorism court on Saturday granted bail to karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar in connection with a case facilitating hate speech.
The court ordered the mayor to submit surety bond of Rs25000.
It may be mentioned here that there were a total of 39 cases were filed against Akhtar including May 12 riots and facilitating hate speech.
The Karachi mayor has already been granted bail in 38 cases.
