KARACHI: Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar said that the government should focus on the ‘Karachi Development Plan’ as after this there will no need for the National Action Plan (NAP) and Karachi Operation.
Speaking to media men outside the Sindh Assembly on Friday, he said, “If Karachi develops there will be no need for NAP or the Karachi Operation.”
He said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan is willing to work with all political parties.
Akhtar said that Karachi’s infrastructure had collapsed as providing drinking water to people had become a challenge.
He said that if Karachi prospers then the entire Sindh will prosper.
