ISLAMABAD: Renowned analyst and TV anchor Orya Maqbool Jan has said that a military dictator might take over the country in case a war is taken place between the US and Iran in the region.

In a message posted on Twitter on Saturday, Maqbool Jan said:” Wait for a change like Ziaul Haq and Pervez Musharraf if a war is going to take place between the US and Iran.
Meanwhile, tensions have further soared between the two rivals countries after the assassinations of Maj Gen Qassem Soleimani, the head of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units’s (PMU) second-in-command Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in the US strike in Baghdad on Friday.
Both the commanders were killed in the US helicopter attack in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, an IRGC statement confirmed.
