LAHORE: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the wailing and crying of rulers would not make the nation to trust them again as the parties being in power time and again had totally disappointed the masses.

Addressing a convention of the JI Youth and the JI nominees for national and provincial assemblies’ seats at Mansoora, he said the federal and provincial governments had totally failed to provide any relief to the masses.

He said the it was only due to the wrong policies of the rulers that the eastern wing of Pakistan fell apart and the remaining Pakistan was also in bad shape.

Sirajul Haq said that in spite of the vast resources of man and material, the country was under heavy debt of the IMF and the World Bank.

He said that the rulers had specialized in corruption and the tales of their corruption were being heard even in London and Dubai.

He said that Pakistan’s youth was much ahead of others in intelligence and the world at large accepted their talent but they were forced to leave the country because of large scale unemployment. He said that the government was giving loans to capitalists and feudal lords and not to the youth who could start any business.

Sirajul Haq further said that elections had become a game of the wealthy and a common man could not even dream of contesting elections. He called upon the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to take an oath from the elected Senators that they had not indulged in corruption in the election.

He said that the JI would open the doors of politics to the youth and fifty per cent of the tickets would be given to the young men.
