COLOMBO: Pakistan on Thursday suffered a massive jolt after its top fast blower Wahab Riaz got left hand fracture in the second Test match against Sri Lanka.
While batting, Dushmantha Chameera short pitch ball hit his left hand. Officials said that scanning had confirmed a hairline fracture on his hand.
Riaz’s injury will compound Pakistan’s woes who are already without the services of Mohammad Hafeez who has been reported again for a suspect action. Junaid Khan, Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar will have to share the burden in the absence of the left-arm bowler.
