MULTAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman threatened that voters cannot save the government if they made firm decision to overthrow it. He admitted that nationals do not vote them and they cannot form a government. He alleged that ‘a secular group’ is working across the country.
While addressing a press conference in Multan, Fazlur Rehman said that they are sitting inside parliament to support law making. He criticised newly imposed regulation for women’s protection against violence in Punjab which allegedly permitted to throw out a man over minor dispute.
JUI-F Chief said that they supported the government to stop violence against women but it did not meant to allow the government for passing controversial regulations.
He termed the women protection bill against the Constitution of Pakistan. He alleged that ‘a secular group’ is working across the country to run government’s machinery under its ideology.
