Dubai: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will extend the visas of Pakistanis living in the country with expired travel documents.

This was announced by the UAE human resource minister during a video link meeting with Zulfiqar Bukhari, the special assistant to the PM on overseas Pakistanis.

The UAE official said that the stranded Pakistanis would be provided every possible assistance.

He added that legal protection would also be provided to those Pakistanis wishing to stay in the UAE.

The UAE companies will bear the travel expenses of their Pakistani workers.
