Violent protest in Punjab after killing of two lawyers in clash with police

DASKA/MULTAN/Faisalabad: After killing of two lawyers in a clash with police on Monday (today) afternoon whole of Punjab witnessed violent protests by lawyers community.

Charged lawyers have burnt DSP’s office in Daska and clash like situation prevailed between police and lawyers community in Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad,Gunjranwala and other cities of Punjab.

Islamabad bar demanded resignation of Chief Minister and Inspector General (IG) Punjab over killing of two lawyers.

Clash between police and lawyer are on full swing  and lawyers are pelting stones on various police station in different cities of Punjab. In Sialkot lawyers burnt a government vehicle belonging to (Town Municipal Administration ) TMA near Nehar Pull.

In various cities police were using tears gas to disperse protesting lawyers while lawyers were resorted to torture on police personnel in various cities.

Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has announced strike on Tuesday (tomorrow)  as well as three days of mourning for killing to two lawyers.
