Five men robbed an Apple Store in broad daylight in Corte Madera, California on Thursday. They are still on the run and the cops have launched an intensive manhunt to arrest them.
The robbery took place in the afternoon when the shop usually buzzes with customers. The robbers laid their hands on whatever they could. They took away small electronics from two tables and fled the store, media reports said. The five men made off with the stolen stuff in a black Honda sedan with a taped-over licence plate.
They appeared to be young African-American – some in their teens while some in their early 20s. They wore black hoodies with the hoods up, kron4 stated.
Police said the young men did not have weapons with them. No customers or employees were attacked or, but the thieves escaped with $19,000 in merchandise.
