KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan whose bail was accepted by a court yesterday could not be released as some of the documents presented with surety bond could not be verified.
The saving certificate and National Identity Card (NIC) submitted with the surety bond for the release of Amir Khan could not be verified delaying the release of leader booked in terrorism related case.
According to details, the saving certificate was sent to National Saving Center and the NIC was sent to NADRA but both the authorities did not reply.
A local court accepted Amir Khan’s bail petition yesterday against a surety bond of 1 million rupees.
