ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to close the vaccinations centres across the country on the first day of Eid-ul-Azha.
The health ministry officials said that the vaccination centres would remain closed on the first day of the Eid, while these will be opened on the second and third day of the festival.
They said that the vaccination will continue as usual except the first day across the country.
Meanwhile, the health ministry has reduced the duration for those who take coronavirus’s second dose.
A statement issued by the ministry, said that Corona’s second dose can now be taken at the Walk In counter after completion of specified period. It added that the time period between the first and second jab has also been reduced.
The second dose of Sinopharm can now be taken after 21 days, while the citizens will be able to get the second dose of Sinovac after 28 days.
According to health ministry officials, the second dose of AstraZeneca can now be applied after 28 days.
