KABUL: We have come to known through media reports that the US wants to keep her presence in a ‘neighbouring country’ to monitor situation in Afghanistan, the Afghan Taliban reportedly said.

The Taliban made a demand to the neighbouring country not to provide any such facility to anyone.

According to a local Pakistani news channel, Afghan Taliban in a statement said that the US wants her presence in a neighbouring country to monitor us.

They said that the foreign forces were responsible for violence and war in the region. They urged the ‘neighbouring country’ not to allow presence of the US forces on its soil.

It may be mentioned here that recently there were reports published in the international and local media of providing land and air access to the US forces by Pakistan.

However, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi speaking in the Senate had termed the reports as unfounded and baseless.
