DAMASCUS: United States of America Defense Secretary Ashton Carter has said that US special forces killed Islamic State (IS) key leader Abu Sayyaf in Syria.
The Defense Secretary said that IS leader was killed in an attack on oil field and his wife was nabbed.
Defense Secretary Ash Carter said that no American personnel was killed or injured. Abu Sayyaf was IS Minister for oil fields. Sources said that at least 12 foreigners among 19 IS militants were killed in the oil field attack.
