US, NATO forces must quit Afghanistan: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami General Secretary Liaqat Baloch demanded United States (US) and  North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) forces to quit Afghanistan.

While talking to a delegation of Afghan students and youths in Lahore, he said America and powers of imperialism hatched conspiracy to give India a role in Afghanistan. Baloch said that Indian role in Afghanistan will bring large scale riot in the region.

The JI leader said Pakistan and Afghanistan had common social values, religion and culture but there was nothing common between India and Afghanistan. He said it is a ground reality that Indian can never get space in Afghanistan.

Baloch said peace in both countries pivotal for peaceful neighborhood. He urged the religious powers to unite for the Muslim identity of Afghanistan.

Baloch saw conspiracy behind US drone attack on Taliban leader in Balochistan. He said corruption destroying state structure, financial system, internal and foreign strategy. He demanded effective Terms of References (ToRs) and legislation for indiscriminate accountability in the state.
