Washington: The US military will not play a role in the presidential election or the election results.

This was stated by US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley while appearing before members of Congress, the top US military official, General Mark Milley, said the US military would have no role in the presidential election.

Mark Milley said that if there was a dispute over the election results, it would not be helped because the courts and the Congress, under the law, resolve such issues, not the military.

“I sincerely believe in the principle that the army is non-political,” he said.
