US-Iran nuclear deal: UAE seeks US security guarantee

WASHINGTON: United Arab Emirates has demanded United States security guarantee on Iran in connection with US-Iran nuclear deal. UAE asks US President Obama about the guarantee in Camp David meeting of six Gulf Cooperation Council nations here on Thursday.

UAE ambassador Youssef Al Qtaiba said that they were looking for security guaranty about Iran’s behavior in the region.

GCC leaders were called at Camp David in the context of nuclear frame work with Iran. US Senate passed a bill on Thursday giving Congress the right to review any final nuclear deal with Iran.
