US search mission found wreckage of U.S. military helicopter, Marines UH-1Y Huey, that went missing three days ago during a earthquake relief mission in Nepal while all persons on board were presumed dead.
Huey was deployed on a quake relief missing in Nepal after massive tremors hit Himalayan state last month claiming more than 8,000 lives but it went missing while distributing aid on Tuesday.
However, the US search team found the wreckage found 8 miles (13 km) north of the town of Charikot near dense forest and rugged terrain, foreign news agency reported.
US officials said that it was a severe crash and there was zero chance of survival in the incident. Nepal defense secretary Ishwori Prasad Paudyal also confirmed that the helicopter broken into pieces and no chances of survivals were present.
