ISLAMABAD: A high level delegation led by US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Olson will reach Friday(today) to discuss drone strike in Balochistan and Pakistan’s participation in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
The aim of the US delegation’s visit to Pakistan is to defuse growing mistrust emerged following the US drone strike in Balochistan which killed Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour.
The US delegation will discuss matters relating to US drone strike in Balochistan and Pakistan’s participation in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
Pakistan will express concern over increasing support of India by the United States.
The visit of the US delegation is taking place after Indian Prime Minister’s visit to the United States during which security and defence agreements were signed between the two countries. In addition President Obama assured US support to Mr Modi for Indian joining the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
