ISLAMABAD: Newly-appointed US ambassador David Hale called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatemi on Monday.
David Hale held meeting with the PM’s advisor after assuming charges of his post as US ambassador.
Both personalities exchanged views of mutual interests, regional and global situation, and Pakistan-US relations.
On the event, Fatemi said that mutual cooperation was crucial for both the Pakistan and United States (US). Hale also expressed hopes that Pak-US ties will be more strengthened in positive direction.
Fatemi recalled that both countries had agreed to enhance ties in the fields of defence, security, energy, trade, economy and education during the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recent visit to US.
