US Ambassador calls on COAS

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) GeneralRaheel Sharif on Friday was called on by US Ambassador in Pakistan, David Hale.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, during his visit the US Ambassador appreciated the gains of Pakistan Army in war against terrorism under command of General Raheel.

Speaking to journalists in Islamabad before leaving for Okara the army chief had an informal chat with journalists.

 “I have faith that Pakistanis will fight the war against terror. I have faith this land of the pure will get rid of terrorists,” he said.

Speaking about his retirement he said, “I took this decision in favour of the country. I am always available to serve the country.”

 “Inshallah Pakistan will see good days,” he added.
