MAKKAH: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has allowed unvaccinated people to perform Umrah and prayers at the Masjid Al-Haram.

According to Arab media, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a message in this regard.

According to a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, only those unvaccinated persons who have not yet contracted the corona virus will be allowed to perform Umrah and pilgrimage. And those who have not interacted with any patient suffering from corona.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that the situation of Corona epidemic is stable in the country due to which those who have not been vaccinated are now allowed to perform Umrah and offer prayers in Masjid Al-Haram.

Last week, the Saudi government has allowed children under the age of five to accompany their parents and relatives to the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi (PBUH) after the relaxation of Corona SOPs.

According to Saudi media, the ban on permits for prayers in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi (PBUH) has now been lifted.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that Umrah permits and prayer permits in Riyadh Al-Jannat Mosque will be issued to children of at least five years.

In addition, after the lifting of the Corona ban, the first Friday prayers were offered in the Masjid al-Haram in which the worshipers participated without any social distance.

Thousands of faithful attended the Friday prayers at the Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-i-Nabawi (PBUH) earlier, after the Saudi government decision to lift all Covid-related restrictions.

According to Saudi media, thousands of Muslims attended the Friday prayers at the Masjid al-Haram following authorities withdrew curbs regarding the Covid vaccination, social distancing and other measures.
