Islamabad: After relaxation in lockdown, now the fear of spreading coronavirus has risen due to unsafe dumping of used face masks and wastes of the virus patients.
Experts have warned that used face masks and other wastes of the Covid-19 patients must be dumped safely otherwise the virus could spread rapidly in the country.
According to Urdu News, Dr Surtaj Ali, an in charge of a quarantine in Islamabad said that he had earlier taken up the issue with the civil administration to arrange proper disposal of used masks and other wastes of patients so that the virus does not spread.
Meanwhile, according to the health ministry data, over 150,000 people will contract the coronavirus by May 30 in the country.
The data suggests that the graph of confirmed cases would flatten in the month of June. In July, the graph will start declining, the data shows.
According to the data, the stock of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators is sufficient for the month of May. However, in June there will be a shortage them.
